Introduction<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This Research Framework is a collaboration between the Cumberland and Westmorland Antiquarian and Archaeological Society, the Lake District National Park Authority, and the Unitary Authorities of Cumberland and Westmorland and Furness. It is the outcome of discussions and consultation within the Society and with a wide variety of organisations, universities and individuals with an interest in the historic environment of Cumbria. We are very grateful to all those who have responded, and to the very positive reaction of the vast majority of those who were approached.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
